Root vegetable salad


Salata od batata, cvekla, šargarepa...
Jednostavna i ukusna!
Vrlo jednostavna salata od pečenih povrća. Ulje se dodaje pre pečenja.

Sastojci
  • 1 babat/slatki krompir, bele boje 
  • 2 šargarepa
  • 1 cvekla
  • maslinovo ulje
  • malo soli
  • možete takođe dodati nekoliko zalene salate ili rukole ilil brokul, za extra boju.
 
Povrće oljuštiti, oprati i seci na male kockice. Staviti (sve osim cvekle... cveklu stavit ina kraju da bude sama u posudi...) u jednou posudu i dodati malo maslinovog ulja i malo soli. Staviti na pleh na papir za pečenje pa peći u zagrejanoj renri na 220stepeni za oko 20minuta sve dok ne omekšaju. Proverite da li su gotove koristeći jednu viljušku kako se vidi na slici.
Ukoliko želite da koristite one grančice cvekla što se vide na slici levo, onda seći ih, staviti u posudu sa vodom i dodati malo sirćeta. Oprati dobro i ocediti. Ponoviti. Zatim kuvati u vodu koja vri za desetak minuta sve dok ne omekšaju. Ocediti i preliti hladnom vodom. Ne bojite se, ne ostave boju kao koren cvekla...
Servirati.

Cvekla nije zagorela već tamne je boje jer ne  ''pije'' vodu kao kad kuvamo u šerpi...

Root vegetable salad

A very simple to make salad, made of root vegetables grilled in the oven.

Ingredients 
  • 1 white sweet potato.
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 beet
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • You can also add some cooked broccoli or fresh rukola or even cut fresh lettuce for extra color!
Peel, wash and cut the root vegetables in small cubes, add some oil and salt. Put then on a baking sheet, separately so that the beet is not combined with the other vegetables. It is even better to put arrange them in groups, for example pt the sweet potatos together and next to them put the carrots e.t.c. ... it will make it easier for you to know which vegatable is ready, as the sweet potato gets ready faster than the othet vegetable cubes... ;) and bake them in a preheated oven for about 20minutes until they get soft when you press them with a fork. Serve! 
 
Notes
  • You can also combine the root veggies with potato. 
  • Use just the root of the beet. If you want to use the other plant pieces (leaves e.t.c. then you have to cut them and wash them very well in water with some vinegar.) Then cook them in boiling water for about ten minutes, use a sieve to and pou some cold water over them. Serve them with your salad!
